Product Information

We strive to accurately represent all products, including descriptions, sizes, and colors. Due to the handmade nature of our products (candles, apothecary, crystals), slight variations may occur.

Orders

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory discrepancies.

All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.

Intellectual Property

All product names, images, branding, and content are the sole property of Adulting Candle LLC. and may not be reproduced without permission.

Limitation of Liability

Adulting Candle Co. Is not liable for Misuse of products. Customers are responsible for the following proper candle safety and product usage guidelines.

Product Care & Safety

Candle Care Instructions (Body, Pillar, Votives, Etc.)

To ensure safe and optimal performance:

  • Trim wick to 1/4 inch before each burn
  • Burn on a heat-safe surface or plate.
  • Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time.
  • Keep away from drafts, children and pets.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep candle free of debris.
  • Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains.

Pillar candles may drip depending on environment and burn conditions. 

Wooden Wick Candles (Containers)

Wooden wicks require slightly different care than traditional cotton wick.

  • Trim wick to approximately 1/8 inch before each burn. (Break off charred wood with fingers once cooled.)
  • Always allow the candle to reach a full melt pool on the first burn (2-4 hours depending on size)
  • Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time
  • If the flame becomes too high, extinguish, trim, and relight once cooled.
  • Keep away from drafts, fans, and vents.
  • Never leave unattended.
  • Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains.
  • Keep away from children and pets. 
  • Wooden wicks may require relighting during the first burn while the wax pool establishes. This is normal and not a defect.

Improper trimming may cause low flame, extinguishing, or incomplete melt pool. Failure to follow proper candle care instructions may result in tunneling, excessive soot, or container damage.

Reed Diffuser Instructions

  • Insert reeds into fragrance oil and allow 24-48 hours for scent diffusion.
  • Flip reeds weekly for stronger scent
  • Place on a stable surface away from children and pets.
  • Avoid contact with finished surfaces as some fragrance oils may cause damage. 
  • Wash hands after handling reeds. 

Adulting Candle Co. is not responsible for damage resulting in improper use.

Body & Apothecary Products

  • For external use only.
  • Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
  • Avoid contact with eyes.
  • Perform a patch test prior to full use.
